We are living in a globalized and evolutionary world; With international demands and pressures, with constant changes, these are some of the challenges that small and large organizations face. Aligning with global standards, as well as adapting to the changes and demands of society, especially the new generations, the so-called “millennial” to these challenges will add to the demands that the future workforce will be asking the “Z” generation. ”

These issues have been discussed in different international forums; reduce working hours and make shifts more flexible. At the time, businessman Carlos Slim was one of those who addressed this controversy; proposing to reduce the working hours to 3 days, something that will not happen at least in a long time in our country. Nowadays, there are companies that have reduced their working hours and others have made their hours more flexible, thus giving their employees the opportunity to be more productive and combine their personal and work life

Other companies have gone even further, such as American Express, which has closed many of its branches and implemented the I work from home, this phenomenon is taking place much more in the US. This seems somewhat contradictory to the usual, however, companies that have dared to experience these changes with their subordinates have had favorable results, since this way their collaborators combine their productive life with their personal life, obtaining a better quality of life.

The country of Japan has reduced its working hours to 4 working days, leaving 3 days for the rest of the employees, this will automatically result in a significant change in society, improving quality of life and reducing work stress, a problem that it becomes more and more latent. The great challenge is to be more productive in less time, not because having long hours guarantees that you will become more productive, the truth is that improving working hours and flexible hours will result in an increase in the quality of work. , greater results for the organization and a better quality of life in the collaborators.
